About Berkley Fierro
Berkley Fierro joined Myers Billion in 2021 upon graduating from the University of South Dakota School of Law, where she was a member of the National Trial Team, and active with the Environmental Law Society and SD Women in Law. During law school, Berkley spent time as a legal intern for the Pennington County State’s Attorney’s Office in Rapid City, SD, and as a Business Development Coordinator with Cohen & Gresser, LLP in New York, NY. After her second year of law school, Berkley worked as a summer intern for Myers Billion, LLP.
Berkley earned her bachelor’s degree in English, magna cum laude, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (“UNL”). While at UNL, Berkley received numerous awards and scholarships commending her commitment to education and leadership. Berkley grew up in Rapid City, SD and is a graduate of Stevens High School, summa cum laude.
In her free time, Berkley enjoys exploring the Sioux Falls community, being outdoors, and spending time with her family. She also volunteers her time as a college chapter advisor and district-wide Risk Prevention Specialist for her sorority. Berkley is on the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association - Board of Governors (2022-2024), and is a member of the South Dakota Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Second Circuit Bar Association, and the Second Circuit Women in Law.
Berkley’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation across several areas included contract disputes, commercial litigation, and family law. Berkley also enjoys representing clients through guardianships and conservatorships across eastern South Dakota. Berkley further enjoys representing clients through the appellate process.
